Lindsay Lohan’s close friends are seriously worried about the actress, as they believe she won’t survive a single day in jail without cigarettes.

LiLo is likely to serve in the same all-female facility cell where Paris Hilton was sent in 2007 – the place with a serious zero tolerance no-smoking policy.

One of the ‘Mean Girl’ star’s close friends revealed, the jail-bound actress is a “serious chain-smoker” who blows through at least two packs a day.

“The first thing she does when she wakes up is light a cigarette,” TMZ.com quoted a source as saying.

The source added: “I’m honestly scared for [Lindsay] … I don’t think she’s gone a day without smoking in years. This isn’t something she can stop overnight. It’s a serious condition.”

Fans of John Waters’ “Role Models” might be interested in today’s action from a California parole board, which is hearing 60-year-old Leslie Van Houten’s bid to be freed.
